For our client, Thales, we are looking for a Processing Software Integrator.

Within the cluster Naval-Engineering the Applications department develops software solutions for our radar and optical sensors, among others. This concerns real-time software for our radar processing systems in the sensor domain.

For this domain we are looking for talented Processing Software Integrator.

 

About the job

Software is an increasing part of our total engineering effort and provides a lot of extra functionality to our radar systems. We highly value the application of high-tech techniques and methods in order to realize our solutions better and faster. The Large Scale Scrum method is applied in software development. Different teams develop software that is integrated and demonstrated in one product. All this in a fixed rhythm.

As an integrator, you are a member of one of our scrum teams and mainly involved in integrating and testing software sub-products.

You will get plenty of opportunities to develop yourself in different directions. Depending on your passion and ambitions, several growth paths are possible, for example towards software architect or test engineer. Participate in field exercises and see our solutions in action.

 

About you

• Do you have a passion for technology and would you like to work on radar processing solutions and complex algorithms? Then you might be the person we are looking for.
• The prerequisite is a completed HBO or WO education in a technical direction, preferably (technical) computer science or electrical engineering.
• A passion for software engineering is self-evident and knowledge and experience with the following tools and techniques is an advantage: C, C++, Linux, Jenkins, Nexus, Maven and Continuous Integration.
• As a person you are creative, open and flexible and able to operate as a team player.
• You have extensive (at least 10 years) experience in software engineering or software integration in a real-time environment.
• In addition, you are results-oriented, take initiative and communicate clearly.
• A good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing is necessary for a good job performance.
• Dutch nationality.
