What you will be part of:

Saab Traffic Management serves customers around the globe with advanced solutions that enable the safe and efficient movement of people and goods. There are three operating units: Maritime Traffic Management (MTM) solutions including Automatic Identification Systems (AIS), port and vessel traffic management information systems (VTMIS).

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, pro-active and engaged Full-Stack Developer for the division Maritime Traffic Management. We are looking for a person that likes to work with Java and JavaScript using frameworks like Vue en ExtJS.

Your role:
We are seeking for a Full-Stack Developer, based in Apeldoorn (the Netherlands). Together with your colleagues, you will develop applications for our Coastal Surveillance and Vessel Traffic Management systems, Port and Information Management systems and Terminal Operating Systems. You work in in a Dev-Ops way of working in an international team. You have the flexibility to work from home or from the Apeldoorn office as you wish.

To be successful in this position you are creative, cooperative, practical and result-oriented. You are enthusiastic, like working with in a team of international expert colleagues, willing to think outside the box and open for new ideas.

Your duties and responsibilities are (but not restricted) to:
•    Actively develop and maintain applications for vessel traffic management, port management and terminal management;
•    Work in an agile way in cooperation with the team, but also in cooperation with our customers;
•    Proactively propose improvements to our products;
•    Participate in standup meetings and help the team reach its goals;
•    Perform product demos internally as well as in front of our customers.

Your experience and skills 
•    Software engineering experience with preferable having experience in creating highly scalable, secure and high-performance front-end applications;
•    Experience with JavaScript Frameworks (like Vue and ExtJS)
•    Experience with Docker is a pre
•    Experience with PHP, Java and C#/.NET is a pre
•    Able to understand and express yourself well in the English language (international team).

Bonus points will be given for...
•    Experience with Node.js;
•    Experience with GitLab CI/CD;
•    Experience with Kubernetes.
