Senior Software Test Engineer

System Test Engineer with a passion for testing complex software components.

 

About the job

In this role, you will work in a team that is responsible for providing expertise in software products. The team works according to the Scrum/Agile methodologies. The emphasis is on functional testing and system integration. Emphasis on assessment of system specifications, writing, designing, and executing the test activities. Your input on operational domain knowledge is important.

 

You have an affinity with software development and are, therefore, a good communicator and leader for the developer team. You also have extensive knowledge of test methods. Test automation, continuous integration, and exploratory testing are therefore not unfamiliar test activities for you. Because of this, technical knowledge is essential in this position.

 

About you

You are a talented System Test Engineer with a background in Software or Test engineering. With your analytical viewpoint, you know how to detect errors and analyse these problems together with your team.

You have recently graduated or have several years of work experience.

You have:

• TMap/ISTQB certificate, or willing to get it;
• Knowledge of one or more programming languages, JAVA is an advantage;
• Knowledge of Linux and other operating systems;
• Knowledge of software development environment, Maven/Gradle, Nexus, GIT/SVN, Jenkins;
• Experience with Agile/SCRUM.
