                                                 Costing and Margin Analyst

As a Costing Margin Analyst, you are accountable for the ongoing development, analysis, and processing of product costing, margin analysis, and tracing costs back to underlying activities. Next to this, you are responsible for the calculation, verification, analyzing, and reporting of product costs and inventory valuation of product lines at the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Updating and managing costs in the system, ensuring product cost is correctly stated per budget standards;
  • Supporting manufacturing personnel to update standard costs;
  • Collecting data to determine the cost of raw materials, CWs, packaging, energy and freight, business activities, and establishing trackers/simulations for forecasting activities;
  • Assisting the commercial teams in customer, product, and service margin analysis and decision support;
  • Maintaining changes to formulation and/or cost components that affect the selling price of manufactured goods to related companies;
  • Reviewing and analyzing variances - production process, materials usage, scrap;
  • Assisting in establishing improved processes for inventory and cost operation;
  • Supporting EMEA margin activities and analysis at PLN level;
  • Supporting plant management in creating budget costs and completion of cost evolution sheets;
  • Covering commercial business activities and plant management tasks.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Accountancy background in Industry;
  • Accounting and finance processes;
  • Cost Management;
  • Profit Margin Analysis;
  • Variance Analysis;
  • Operational Tasks (no strategic role);
  • 2-3 years of experience;
  • Very good XLS skills;
  • ERP System experience (ideally JDE or SAP);
  • Good communication skills (in contact with Operations, Finance, and Sales Teams);
  • Dutch and English language proficiency;
  • Ability and willingness to travel.
