                                                      Foseco is looking for a:

 

                                    Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager – Enschede

 

As an HSE Manager you ensure the complete safety of all personnel working in Foundry and Labs, including workers, visitors and contractors. It is crucial that complete compliance with Vesuvius health and safety policies and initiatives, as well as continual improvement in safety audits. Ensure that all Foseco and local environmental regulations and laws are followed. You manage the day-to-day tasks associated with audits and chances for improvement. In addition to this you monitor and report all relevant safety metrics to site management.

Your tasks; 

  • You are an expert in HSE management and you can guide the site in Enschede to the next level in safety etc.
  • Planning, organizing and strategizing the HSE department in alignment with the corporate strategy.
  • Creation and updating of the documentation in cooperation with the departments (e.g. guidelines, process descriptions, work instructions, etc.)
  • Participate in risk assessment and incident investigation as well as document and verify the implemented measures.
  • Independent preparation, implementation and followup of internal and external audits.
  • Technical representation of the management in dealing with external certification bodies, trade associations and quality issues of customers
  • Prepare, initiate and Implement internal HSE training courses in addition to conducting other HSE events.

Your profile:

  • Completed Engineering degree, e.g. in security system/management, electrical or  mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or equivalent training and further education (e.g. industrial foreman / technician/ technical professional etc).
  • Several years of professional experience in HSE Management.
  • Experience in occupational health and safety (preferably in the industrial sector)
  • Ideally, intraining or specialist for occupational safety.
  • Independent and resultoriented approach of work.
  • Handson mentality in the implementation of processes and employee motivation
  • Ability to work in a team, communication skills, assertiveness and high motivation.
  • Good command of spoken and written Dutch(!) and English
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office).
