The Online Digital Communication Manager is responsible for the development, executions and implementation of global online activities for UEI, with focus on retail business (One For All) to support and strengthen the company’s objectives in terms of brand image and sales.

Position in the Organization:

The Online Digital Manager reports directly to the Director of Global Marketing Communications

Fields of specialization:

  • Digital first strategy
  • nIntegrated digital programs
  • Conversion programs
  • Websites (strategy, analyzing, optimalisation)
  • SEO and SEA activities (SEM)
  • Strategy and philosophy on content
  • Social Media owner

Main areas (including responsibilities and tasks):

1. Manage total process of creation and implementation of the online projects, from the moment of initial concept idea to the production implementation:

  • Develop, in co-operation with relevant suppliers, creative & technical concept proposals;
  • Work closely together with Product Management and Marcom team to: 1. Ensure full integration of online projects into overall off-line Marcom activities; 2. Prepare briefings for the suppliers; 3. Ensure on-time availability of all defined deliverables;
  • Manage online media, creative and production agencies;
  • Initiate and chair project meetings for online activities. Coordinate total execution process;
  • Oversee and provide support & execution guidelines online activities, initiated in local sales organizations;
  • Monitor and document the project planning;
  • Provide input for and manage online activities budget;
  • Share internally status, project progress and results for online activities;
  • Be online champion, by monitoring the market (competition & trends) and providing expertise on selection of efficient digital media and costing models (CPC, CPA, CPM) to reach set objectives;
  • Educate communications team and other stakeholders across Sales and PMM in the merits and principles of online communications;
  • Provide online support to B2B projects;
  • Continuously work on process improvement and address possible roadblocks, to increase efficiency and output quality.

2. “Own”company (OneForAll) website, with regards to functionality & content:

  • Make sure that company website supports realization of business and marketing objectives;
  • Propose and manage timely realization of website activity plan, by acting as “project manager” for all involved parties;
  • On-goingly conduct website analytics, conclude, share with relevant stake holder and implement improvement points;
  • Continuously monitor the market with regards to website developments, trends and competition.

3. General MarComm responsibilities

  • Give input to the creation of the yearly marketing communication strategy & activity calendar;
  • Ensure best in class quality and brand compliance of the visual executions, in line with brand policy and house style;
  • If needed, give support to other projects within the team and executing other MarComm tasks, in situations of irregular workload.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor Level in E-Commerce or Digital Marketing Communications
  • Min. 2 years’ experience in running online projects, in B2B and B2C marketing
  • Preferred knowledge of online sales tactics & principles
  • Affinity with Consumer Electronics products/technology
  • Experience in working in International environment
  • Knowledge and experience in conception and production of promotional materials and dealing with external suppliers

Required expertise and skills:

  • Understanding of digital media planning & buying process across a range of digital media types
  • Knowledge and experience of the role the different media channels play within a wider communication campaigns
  • Strong understanding of available online technologies
  • Solid understanding of online tracking and evaluation techniques with an ability to select appropriate metrics and tools to measure activity performance
  • Experience in applying a wide range if digital creative executions in order to achieve different messaging objectives
  • Ability and enthusiasm to educate and inspire internal stake holders
  • Ability to work in matrix organization, handle competing priorities, influence others to meet agreed planning
  • Ability to work in very fast and demanding environment
  • Strong Project Management skills
