Front-End Developer
Your role:
As part of our team in Antwerp (or from Apeldoorn), you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of a completely new product. The aim of this product is to provide potential new customers with features and tools that automate and facilitate the tasks on a terminal while increasing profit and efficiency.
Imagine determining the optimal positions of a group of containers that are being discharged from a cargo ship in a minimum amount of time. Meanwhile, trucks are waiting at the gates to deliver or pick up other containers. Messages are also pouring in containing information about future appointments that need to be handled. Those or only some of the processes that are taking place in parallel on a daily basis at a terminal.
You will be involved in brainstorm sessions where concepts are challenged with the purpose of generating the best solutions in terms of, for example, robustness and efficiency. Those sessions will come in handy when translating the theoretical ideas into a technical implementation. We progress one sprint at a time and organize daily standups to ensure the team is kept in sync. Quality, maintainability and testability are first class citizens of our development process.
